ARSOW –Nepal with the partnership of TCH (Triangle Generation Humanitaire) has set up an Integrated Global Reconstruction Programme (IGRP-I) to provide an emergency response to earthquakes affected households in the Panchpokhari Rural Municipality, (Thangpaldhap, Thangpalkot, and Gunsakot villages) Sindhupalchok district.  

After the first phase of IGRP-I programme, ARSOW-Nepal started the second phase of IGRP-II programme, with the partnership of TCH (Triangle Generation Humanitaire). The main aim of the IGRP-II was reconstructing houses and community infrastructure, rehabilitating drinking water and irrigation networks and providing economic support to the most vulnerable in Panchpokhari Rural Municipality (Thangpaldhap, Thangpalkot, Gunsakot and Bhotang villages), Sindhupalchok district. 

The third phase of IGRP-3 programme has been started in Panchpokhari Rural Municipality (Ward no 3- Bhotang, 4-Thangpalkot, 5- Gunsakot, and 6-Thangpaldhap) Sindhupalchok district from March 2020. The main aim of this project is to strengthen the operational and technical capacities of local government and communities to support their socio-economic transition initiated in IGRP –II. The program focuses more on the economic development of families and communities living in the Panchpokhari Rural Municipality, where agriculture is the main source of income. 

The project consist both hardware and software part, regarding hardware the project will support the population and local authorities to revive their economic activities by supporting in agriculture infrastructure support like to support in Model Farm, Information Center, Nursery set up, Collection center, Water network support, Community and individual bio-gas system, etc. 

To support the hardware parts project has developed some software part like to enhance the capacity of the beneficiaries and representatives of local authorities through various training on agriculture, exposure visit, and cooperative and support the technician of local authorities which help to generate local skill human resource. Too aware of various issues on sanitation and reconstruction there is an awareness program designed.
