ARSOW-Nepal has joined hands with Build Change to work for recovery and reconstruction in one VDC each in Sindhupalchowk and Kavrepalanchowk district respectively. The project aims to aware the communities of working areas and its adjacent VDCs regarding the earthquake resistant houses, to produce requires human resources especially masons and can be mobilize in the construction of houses, to ensure the quality during the construction of houses.

The programme is currently running in Dhunkharka VDC of Kavrepalanchowk and Sangachowk VDC, Sindhupalchowk District aiming to benefit around 15,000 people living in the area. School repairing, model house construction, retrofitting of the private houses, construction of health posts are among the major activities being carried under the project at present.
Similarly, it has been assisting the government agencies in enrollment of the earthquake victims for the reconstruction grant.

The eight month project started on April 1, 2016 and concluded in the end of 2016.
